Third Sector Support for Derbyshire (3D)

There are an estimated 5000 third sector groups and organisations operating across Derby and Derbyshire.

Often referred to as the front line third sector they include charities (small and large), self help groups, community associations, single issue campaign groups, sports clubs, neighbourhood projects, activity groups as well as many others.

They are supported by 26 local, third sector support organisations such as councils for voluntary service (CVS), volunteer centres and other, more specialist, agencies.
