Our principle aim is to facilitate the redressing of deprivation which exists primarily in the Arboretum, Normanton, Abbey and Sinfin wards of Derby through training, mentoring and employment guidance. We will:

• Provide services to the community.
• Work with, support and encourage community organisations to develop further. .
• Advocate and represent the community by networking with potential funders and key influencers.
• Widen and strengthen our relationships with regional and national bodies.
• Seek to develop JET as a self sustaining social enterprise.
• Provide learning opportunities for the community at large.
• Offer safe, comfortable accessible facilities to the community.
• Evaluate and review our projects and main streams of activity.
• Promote our key successes and achievements.
• Achieve sufficient, sustainable funding.
• Manage the quality of our activities/services.
• Develop our staff and achieve recognise quality marks and awards.
